My Penis Size: Male Penis Size

Many men are curious to know what the average male penis size is and if the size of their own penis measures up. Though there is a general male average penis size, it is advised that men not be overly concerned about their own size. Men often want the answers to questions such as, “Does my penis size affect my sexual performance,” and “Does my penis size, big or small, make more or less of a man?” The answers to these difficult questions can be found here.

In a recent and popular study designed to find out the average penis size of a male between the ages of 19 to 30 in the United States, the statistical findings showed that approximately 55 percent of males had an erect penis length of five and a half to six and a half inches. In this study, the penis was measured from the tip of the penis at the head to the abdomen.

Length, however, is only one factor in determining the average penis size of a male. Width must also be considered. The same men were again surveyed and the study found that male average penis size, based on width, was between four inches to five and a half inches. This study was conducted on erect penises belonging to American males between the ages of nineteen and thirty five years of age. The average width was attributed to 69 percent of males.

So, if a male’s penis size, considering both width and length, falls into one or both of these two categories, he is considered to be average. However, many men and some women hold the false belief that the male penis should be much larger than the norm. This is in part due to the high expectations of the American culture, and in part to pornography where the male actors usually have much larger than average penises.

However, even if one falls below the average range, most women will agree that they do not judge a man based on the size of his penis. There are problems that can arise from both large and small penises. Some women may not feel as satisfied with a small penis due to social stigma, while other women feel that large penises make sexual intercourse painful or uncomfortable. However, even if either of these situations arise, women who love men usually do not consider the size of their penises as a factor in whether or not they will pursue a long term relationship with the male in question. Most women also agree that a male who has a small penis can be just as good at sexual performance as males who have large penises. While a few women may take issue with a small penis size, these women are usually heavily influenced by culture and should not be taken seriously. Men who work hard to sexually please women should not be concerned if they fall short of the average male penis size.
